As a young girl my interest in baking began while watching my mother and grandmother cook and bake every Sunday morning and the holidays. My favorite part was helping to eat the apple peels, if my Nana made apple pie. Or eating the remaining pound cake batter out the bowl LOL . With WILD playing on the radio, I would watch and study them as they would sing along with the Clark Sisters and prepare dinner for the whole family.

My mother was so creative. In addition to baking (or cooking) she would make baskets for family and friends out of pinecones and white lights. They were so gorgeous! The breathtaking look on everyone’s faces is the reason I decided to pursue my passion for baking and decorating. I want to replicate that look on the faces of my clients every time.

So, this business, KD’s Kreations (a combination of my name Kendradenise and Damian (my heartbeat) is my God Idea- My Bishop said that it’s an idea that only God has given you to do. It started out as a hobby but with the counsel of my mentor/pastor and crew, I am now the owner, head baker, cake artist and decorator extraordinaire of this new venture. I am proud to be a newly launched black owned business and I can’t wait to be a part of your next event!
